ELEC223 - Microcontroller Fundamentals
Complete coverage of microcontroller assembly language instruction set, including hardware interfacing. All logical operations and the software required for input/output to MSI ICs are included. Other topics include microcontroller architecture, address decoding, memory ICs, keyboard and display scanning, interrupts, breakpoints, software control of peripherals, and troubleshooting strategy. Prerequisites: CSCI 160; ELEC 222; MATH 120 or MATH 122; and prior completion or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 101; and RDNG 116 if required by placement testing. 4 Cr. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
