ENGL248 - Contemporary Women Writers
Crossed-listed as WGST 248 Provides an overview of trends and themes in contemporary literature written by women. Through a broad spectrum of readings, students analyze the impact of gender on literature, recognize the diversity of women's experience as expressed in literature, and review the impact of feminist criticism on contemporary literary theory. Prerequisites: ENGL 102; RDNG 116 if required by placement testing. 3 Cr. (3 Lec.). Spring semester.
