This course offers students the opportunity to explore health care delivery systems, and the roles of caregivers from historical, ethical, political, social, and global perspectives. As a result of this exploration, students will become better-informed health consumers, and will be able to make more sound and responsible decisions to obtain and/or to provide improved health and health care for themselves and their families. Prerequisites: RDNG 116 if required by placement testing; prior completion or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 101. 3 Cr. (3 Lec.)
